On March 11th, 2023, the LGU Dauis and Brgy. Poblacion Council conducted a coastal clean-up at Borja Bridge or also known as Taytayan, where a significant amount of waste, including plastic, bottles, tires, broken glass, and other harmful items, was collected. It is disheartening to see that some individuals still neglect the area by littering harmful waste, despite the efforts to maintain its cleanliness and preserve our environment.
To address this issue, some authorities have been tasked with supervising the area during the night and deter such activities. Furthermore, the police have fined several individuals for violating the no-loitering ordinance, which has been implemented to ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of not only Dauis but also the entire Province of Bohol.
The water main line in Purok 3, Songculan had a leak that caused water wastage and flooding in the area. Fortunately, our waterworks team acted promptly and resolved the issue.
We hope for your cooperation to immediately report such problems to the waterworks office or the Mayor’s office so that the problem with our water supply can be addressed immediately and prevent further water wastage in our town.

A water shortage in Purok 6, Catarman caused a prolonged two-month period of no water supply. However, the situation was addressed by the installation of a new water pipe, along with the cleaning and refilling of the tank to ensure an uninterrupted water flow.
We greatly appreciate the dedication of the waterworks staff in continuing to serve the people of Dauis.
TIEZA officials came to our town for site inspection and notarial signing of the MOA by the PLO as prerequisite for the Pre-Construction Conference of Tourist Rest Area signed by our Gov. Our service to the people of Dauis never takes a day off. We have tackled the issue of the large and potholed road in front of the church that has been a long-standing problem. Our community is very poor, but we purchased the necessary materials such as cement, stone, and sand to address the situation promptly. We are grateful for the support of our Bayanihan boys who generously volunteered their services without pay. Even small actions and contributions from each of us can bring happiness to our fellow citizens. We pray to our loving and merciful God for continuous guidance and protection from harm, so that we can continue serving our community.
